sex and relationship coaching for those who are considering
non-monogamy
“I wonder what it would be like to feel more free.”
“We talk about opening up but we don’t know where to start.”
“I don’t even know what I want, let alone how to ask for it.”
“There’s something I want to explore but I don’t want to hurt my partnership.”
“I think I want something from sex that I’m not getting.”
“Am I kinky?”
Are any of these questions familiar?
I have asked ALL of these questions (and more) and been where you are.
Hi, I’m Kim.
I’m a certified coach with over 15 years of experience in polyamory and ethical non-monogamy. My work is informed by my own exploration of desire and life-long curiosity about how relationships work.
As an artist and creative facilitator, I know that relationships are an art form and that creativity is an important tool in healthy and thriving connections.
For clients who are interested, I incorporate art-therapy-based techniques into my sessions. I believe that accessing our creativity can often give us the clearest access to our own truths.
I am gender-queer and kink-forward. I love holding space for people who are seeking to be more fully met, whether it’s through sex or through the type of relationship they’re having, or anything else. These are huge transformational moments, and no one should be alone with them.
Getting support can make all the difference in the world.
Opening a long-term partnership takes skill (& it’s not always the answer)
Something needs to change in your relationship or the way you’re doing relationships. Maybe you’re asking for that change, or your partner is asking for it. Or you’re just in the phase of quietly asking yourself. Perhaps there are questions for you around the kind of sex you’re having and the kind of sex you’d like to have. You feel like you might want something different, but you don’t know what that is. You have trouble asking for what you want. Or even knowing what that is. You don’t know if your partner, or if only one partner, can meet your desires. You just know that change is knocking at the door.
If you’re in a long-term relationship and you’re exploring the possibility of opening up, now is a great time to get support
Whether it’s mutual or one partner is bringing it to the other, there are common patterns that emerge in this moment in a relationship.
Having support in place can change the whole game.
It’s important to slow down, examine intentions and motivations, get clear on desires and expectations, agreements and deal-breakers and find the unique way forward that is right for both of you. There is no one-size-fits-all solution. This moment is asking you to level up your relationship and self-knowledge skills and coaching is a great way to do that.
You might be feeling any of the following in this moment:
curious and excited
like you’re meeting new parts of yourself
afraid to ask for what you want
worried your partner will leave you
insecure about your place of value with your partner
anxious about messing it all up
eager to get going right now
Exploring new pathways to pleasure takes courage.
Pleasure is a creative process.
Curiosity, ingenuity, and a willingness to be uncomfortable is what makes space for our more hidden desires to come forward and let us know them. Especially if you’ve been in a long-term relationship, it can be edgy or even confusing to experience new desires or fantasies. But your desire is sacred and worth taking seriously.
We’ll explore it creatively, gently, and without judgement.
